Over the weekend our talented founder put on a beautiful piano performance in the luxury 5* St Pancras Renaissance Hotel at London King Cross. This magical musical performance took place in an incredible setting in the beautifully restored historic Hansom Hall.
This hotel has been charmingly restored keeping the history but adding a touch of modern day luxury. The Victorian Gothic décor and building is outstanding and falls just behind the Houses of Parliament, making it one of the most well-known and adored hotels and venues. The grand three storey staircase was designed by the renowned architect Sir Gilbert Scott dating back to when the hotel first opened in 1873 providing great history and glamour having been fully restored with iron hand rails spiralling upwards underneath a mesmerising gold ceiling and wrapping around beautifully hand decorated gold and red walls. The staircase is truly enchanting and captivating and the sound of the piano floating through the room will simply take your breath away.
This hotel has been given high praise with Sir John Betjeman stating this hotel is ‘too beautiful and too romantic to survive’ but after careful restoration the St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel has been named London’s most romantic building and it certainly was a magical venue for our talented founder to play in.
